If you like animals and want to help them find great homes, volunteering for PACA may be for you. We always need volunteers who are willing to donate a few hours of their time to help. We have a variety of areas we need help with.
Foster a Dog: Give a dog in need a place to crash for a while. Fostering saves lives and gives a dog a great chance to get a good home. For more info about fostering please see our Foster with PACA page.
Adoption event help: We can always use help at adoption events setting up and breaking down the location, answering questions, or just hanging out with some dogs.
Dog Transport to Vet or Adoption Event: Sometimes our foster dogs need a ride to the vet or adoption event.
Maya is getting a ride to adoption event.
Dog Walkers: If we have dogs in boarding, they appreciate dog walkers to take them for a field trip.
Social Media and Marketing Help: We need help with posting and promoting our fantastic adoptable dogs on social media and other platforms.

Cat Fostering: Give some kittens or a cat some time to live life as a pet while they are awaiting their adoptive homes. See more about fostering at our Foster with PACA page.
Cat care and socialization: We have cats at the PetSmart store at Academy/Wyoming that need to be cared for daily. There are two volunteer shifts a day during the week (one morning and one evening) and there are volunteers at Petsmart all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Volunteer shifts are typically a couple of hours once a week. If you are interested in volunteering at PetSmart, drop by the store and if a volunteer is present, they can answer your questions and help you fill out a volunteer application. Or, you can email us at pacacats@aol.com Thank you so much!
